Enjoy some time at Watersong Clubhouse

Published On: 16 Mar, 2025 01:00 PM

It is very tempting to just stay at the villa and enjoy your own private pool and most of our guests do that, at least for the majority of the time, including us. However, for a nice change of scene it is also really nice to take a little stroll down to the Clubhouse on Watersong. It is free to access for all guests staying on the resort.
When you leave our villa turn left and just follow the main road of Orange Cosmos Boulevard for about 10 minutes if walking or a couple of minutes by car and you will find the Clubhouse on the right.

There are things to do down at the Clubhouse, both indoors and out. What there isn’t down there though is anywhere to buy food and drink.
The pool area is open every day from 7 a.m to 7 p.m. Around the pool, which is fenced and gated, there are numerous sun loungers, sun umbrellas and also a number of tables and chairs. The pool itself, which is a really good size, is heated in the winter months  and the separate spa is heated all year.
If you want to get some longer lengths in when swimming compared to the pool at the villa this community pool will allow you to do so.
Another benefit of this pool is that it is what is known as a zero entry pool, meaning that you can walk straight into the water without having to climb down any steps although there are steps to enter the pool too if you prefer to use them. To be able to walk into the water without climbing down any steps is of course a real help for anyone with mobility issues or if you have young children with you who want to just splash around in shallow water.

The pool area is accessed through gates and is fenced all the way round. Next to the pool area (but outside of the fence) there is a childrens’ climbing frame which again is a good place to walk to with young children. Next to the climbing frame there is a volley ball court and a picnic table.

Over the years we have gone down to the pool on quite a number of occasions and never ever seen it busy down there. More often than not we have gone down and found that we have the entire pool to ourselves. At the most we have been there at the same time as about 6 other people so it tends to be a really peaceful little spot for a swim or just a sunbathe and a read. You would want to accompany children to the pool as there is not a lifeguard there.

Inside the Clubhouse, which is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 6 pm. on the weekend. there is a manned reception area, an indoor gym and a series of games rooms for playing table tennis, pool, table football, shuffle board and air hockey. There is a  large communal club lounge where you can sit and have a coffee from the machine. The indoor gym is open during the same hours as the rest of the indoor clubhouse.
